Tomato Oil
This beauty may look like tomato sauce but it is definitely not. We were watching Diners, Drive ins, and Dives and saw the episode in Syracuse at Pastabilities. We had to try it! I had some homemade sauce on hand so we used that as a base. We boiled 6-7 sliced garlic cloves in 1.5 cups of olive oil. Then we drained the oil into the sauce, added in 2 heaping tablespoons of sirachi sauce, 1/3 cup of honey, 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and then added back in the cooked garlic. Blended it all together with my immersion blender and voila! It's got a strong tomato taste in the front but on the backside is just enough sweetness and heat that is original and delicious. It was hard to put the bread down! I recommend everyone make this...soon!

Isn't it wonderful to discover a wicked new recipe! I am a big fan of the Food Network Channel and love discovering a secret sauce or bread recipe! I might have to give this one a try soon.
